I began working for Burton Snowboards at their flagship location in Santa Monica, CA, in 2020. I applied only knowing that I was infatuated with snowboarding, and I loved outdoor apparel and product development. At the time, I was also enrolled at FIDM. A majority of my assignments were shaped and inspired by my involvement with Burton.
Below is a collection of projects I had the pleasure of personally working on / being involved in during my time there.

Blossom Snowboard
A personal project inspired by the 2022 Burton Blossom Snowboard and the 2021 Kilroy, a theoretical collaboration resulting in a new, original design
Keith Haring Step On Bindings
Inspired by the 2019/20 Burton Free Thinker Camber Snowboard and Kieth Haring’s original design, using Posca paint pens and finished with acrylic varnish spray.
Seasonal Stickers
Each season I worked at Burton I created custom stickers (specifically for our shop crew) inspired by that season’s “theme”. For example, during the 2021 season our newest addition / shop dog Howie - as well as the Burton Custom snowboard - was quite popular. Resulting in a new team-favorite sticker.
Modeling
During the Spring season of 2022, I was given the opportunity to model the Spring clothing line for Burton.com in Los Angeles. This experience was especially memorable due to the fact that I was able to recommend the location for the photo shoot in the Santa Monica Mountains, on one of my favorite hiking trails. I was photographed alongside my coworkers. This day remains one of my highlights while working at Burton.
